Sometimes I want to grab those who are holding one, completely clueless to the fact that some of us are attached to our eyes, and beat them with it as we all stand on the train platform. But I don't. Because I don't like jail.
I know the feeling. I almost smacked some bozo this morning myself. At TFC game in the rain, if someone tries to open an umbrella, they're threatened with their life. That should be the rule EVERYWHERE, not the exception.
I like the ones who grip their closed umbrellas and continue to walk with their arms swinging. You have to walk at least 10 feet behind these people so you don't get impaled by it.
This website is not only read by GO Transit passengers, but also by employees of various transit agencies across Canada and the US, members of the media and enjoys an audience from around the world. Please take that into consideration.
