Thanksgiving TMI

Thanks to the wonders of cellphone technology, all of us on Coach 2328 on the 5:20 are being subjected to the ENTIRE weekend plans of this 1 woman who is fighting with:

her mother (hangs up)
her sister (hangs up)
her boyfriend
her mother (calls back)
her father
her sister (again)

It appears everyone wants to eat on different days except for Saturday.

Eventually she gives up and angrily throws her phone into her bag. Now she's crying behind her to.night newspaper while her phone vibrates wildly.

Why don't people wait until they're home alone to make these kinds of calls?

I mean, really, it's turkey for f**k sakes.

  1. Because her mother and her sister were both yelling I could hear their responses.

Her mother was losing her mind that just because she has a boyfriend now who eats on Sundays doesn't mean her family has to change their Thanksgiving tradition.

Her sister was losing her mind because she wanted Saturday to do laundry.

People talk about way too many personal things on the train. It's embarrassing. I don't like being subjected to it. Is there no humility anymore. Gawd, people even facebook to tell people when they're on the rag. It's ridiculous.
