Please take a moment today to visit "Canada Remembers ..." hosted by Veteran Affairs Canada and remember all our men and women who fought, still fight, and have died.
I get the day off (government employee) and I always go to a ceremony or watch the Ottawa ceremony on tv (depends on weather -- or today, I'd accidentally scheduled a doctor's appt at 10:30 so I taped the ceremony and watched it when I got home).
I think it's important to honour all our soldiers serving and who have served.

Because the banks give their employees the day off, did anyone notice how easy it was to get a seat and park this morning?!
ReplyDeleteWonder how many of these bank employees went to ceremonies in their communities?
My guess is ZERO.

I'm sure I'm in the minority. But I remember.
