GO train service on the Milton line was delayed this morning after a pedestrian was struck and killed.
The victim was struck at approximately 7:50 a.m. just west of the Cooksville station.
According to GO Transit, trains on the line faced delays of up to 45 minutes. The 7:53 a.m. and 8:08 a.m. trains were cancelled.

Why can't people stay off the tracks?
Does this mean that Milton cops are not as thorough as Oshawa cops?
I heard that they couldn't tell which train had hit the individual -- GO or the CN (what with it being a busy active rail line and all).
I agree with anonymous -- stay off the freaking tracks.
It's sad news for someone's family. Very sad.
