Sitting across from me is a gentleman with one of those people counters used to count people as they go into clubs. Now I know right now this ain't no disco so what's with all the clicking?

Was he clicking as people entered the train or just clicking to be annoying?

I have no idea why he was clicking, he wasn't looking at anything...just kept clicking and staring straight ahead.

    I've seen GOstappos with clickers as they walk the cars to check tickets. Maybe GO hires people to ride and count as well.

    Maybe he was doing some research. I'm doing graduate studies, and I've used GO commuters in my research.

    From time to time there are people counting in the tunnel at Pickering, but they have ID and GO vests on, I assume counting ridership, but on the train? Guess his gameboy was broken that day.
