Gee, I wonder what she's texting? "hey, i'm holding the train for u. lol. ya. blocking the doors so they can't close."
Folks, what we have here is "door-blocking" to the extreme.
These donkeys are waiting for the rest of their door gang to show up, who just so happen to be late (5:10 pm Union-Oshawa). But hey, that's ok, right? It's not like anyone else on the train wants to get home on time.
I didn't even bother blurring out faces (not that they're crystal-clear to begin with) because I know I'm not the only one sick of this crap and these pretentious turnips need to understand they're not special and holding the train isn't like holding a seat on the bus for your BFF in grade school.

OMG I hate those door blockers. on the 4:10 they're are tons of them. I purposely walk by them and knock them with my elbow, bag or whatever. dont stand in the middle of the freakin' doorway people!
If GO ran more trains or put more cars on 'em, there would be less people standing around blocking the stairs, aisles, and doorways like morons...
Dan, yes I agree that would solve the problem, however there is plenty of room for these morons to stand inside the car in the isles where the seats are rather than blocking the entrance of the cars.
The door blocking is wrong but far more concerning is that this woman is standing where she is to prevent the doors from closing so she can "hold" the train for her friends.
Perhaps GO can have one of their constables on the platform for a few days this week to address this behaviour?
@Dan-1: I highly doubt that more cars would help. Those "donkeys" as CJ kindly calls them, stand there so they can be the first ones out of the train. I take the train between Whitby and Union and I tried going to different cars and trust me, there are not as many "door blockers" on all other cars; they are mainly concentrated in two cars (for the Whitby exits).
As if the people at GO transit or Metrolinx read this website. Actually, they should make a point to read it. This is the only sure-fire way to know your demographic and what pisses them off.
I take the train to Ajax and all those Donkeys block the cars I ride, neither of which open at Whitby because of the construction. Therefore there are Donkeys all around on the LSE rush hour trains.
Yeah I don't think it has anything to do with seats, it's more about being first off the train, or hanging out with the gang. Lots of people park themselves at the doors well before the seats are full.
Check out the girl on the 4:53 union-oshawa. First (east) car, 2nd door. She is so important she never leaves the door, people at union have to enter through one side only. Nobody ever says anything but it's about time someone knocked her off her feet.
That person in the photo sure has ugly boots.
