This stair pig is annoyed. She was first on the train and staked her spot on the stairs. As people passed her, she gave dirty looks of inconvenience, that Heaven forbid, people would actually want to sit! On the upper level!
Here's how I see it. If you know you're going to stand, how about you get on the train last?
Problem solved.
I love making contact with these idiots when I board. And like CJ said in a previous comment, I put my weight into it.
If someone said something loud enough to them, every day, it would likely stop. Nobody says anything.
ReplyDeleteNot true. There are people who feel so entitled, they don't care what we say. But there are those who are can't believe it's a problem. Well here's evidence it is!
ReplyDeleteThis person is my absolute favourite reason for "elbowing" as I pass by!
ReplyDeleteI love elbowing stair pigs. I purposely bump stair pigs and door donkeys.
ReplyDeleteit also annoys me when the people sitting on the stairs continue to sit there while half the train gets off at Ajax and then get annoyed when they get whacked in the head by people going past them on their way out. Sure sit all the way to pickering, but once people start getting off the train get off the damn stairs and out of the way!!
Phil,
ReplyDeleteI have been taking the 4:53 LSE every day for 2 years, and same people block the doors and stairs every day, and not once, NOT ONCE have I heard anybody say a thing. Not a word. I do believe some people would stop if they were ganged up on or embarassed enough. On my coach anyway, most of the blockers are young females and I honestly believe this is why people, and men in particular are reluctant to say anything to them.
Get CJ to ride with you; I've seen her in action. Just name the car. The 4:53 may be too early for her but she'll speak up.
