Would you watch? Train 48 - the show

Muriel wrote me shortly after the GO-series ran in the National Post.

She has the Canadian rights to Train 48 (a television series that ran about a group of people who rode a commuter train). All 318 half-hours.

Muriel would like to air the series again or even provide it on mobile phones.

She wants to know ... Do you think people would watch the series on their mobile phones while on the GO train?

Here's an episode:

  1. I'd have to be in a seriously cheesy state of mind to watch that series. I couldn't get through an episode the first time it aired.

  2. If the episodes were about all the stuff written on this blog, I would.

  3. Are you kidding? this was the worst series ever! Anyone I talk to either has never heard of it or laughs at how horrible it was. I would definately never watch a lame show about lame commuting, its bad enough I have to take the go train in the first place.

  4. It's Peter-Motherlovin-Yip.
    Of course!

Why is it a bench of three seats? Was this supposed to be a GO train?

Looks like a set and nothing more.

  5. It wasn't funny the first time. Would it be funny the second? And what about signal strength?

I think what was interesting about the show was that most of it was improvisation was it not?

  9. Wouldn't touch it with a 12 foot pole. Probably the only thing more boring than riding a train is watching others riding a train on TV.

    Where's that fireplace channel...

  11. Rather than be quads, would those groups of three seats facing one another be sexes?

  12. I wouldn't watch it. I have to live it 2 hours every day and that's torture enough.

  13. Where are these side by side by side GO Train seats??? other than under the stairs, there are't any seats 3 in row.
