Train 49, 46, 90 ... how about Train Ridiculous

Oh f*ck me.
Really!?

Of all the coaches to pick on the 425 LSE train, I'm on the one with the Whitby/Ajax lunatics that were featured in the National Post GO Transit Series. Loud is an understatement. Obnoxious is more like it.

Apparently they enjoy tormenting people because I'm listening to one of them relay a story about a woman who 'didn't know' who sat with them this morning and was visibly annoyed by their antics.

They're actually proud of themselves for being able to 'push all her buttons'.
Now they've analyzing why they've never seen the woman before.
Hey, I'm new on this train, not everyone takes the same sheep train everyday.

I'm not sure what to make of these donkeys.

One of them is singing now, some commercial jingle.

Oh Christ, now one is reading what I consider a personal email, aloud, to the whole train. It's like being forced to listen!!!

I should have moved when I had the chance.

  1. The maturity level of these grown adults is astounding. I could at least understand it from 18 year olds...

  4. At one point I seriously considered just reading aloud from my book.

I mulled it over for some time once we were headed through the Rouge Valley.

But I had to ask myself, what would it accomplish? Perhaps I should have tried it?

The people around me were already pissed off and disturbed, so me reading aloud probably wouldn't faze anyone. Maybe I would have been given a standing ovation?

  5. I believe that is the same group that gets on the 5:47 Oshawa to Union train I am on in the morning and yes they do whatever they can to annoy everyone that is trying to sleep.
They don't even sit in the exact same spot everyday so that you can try and avoid them.........

  6. @CJ - you should have. Or done something more obnoxious, like stood and sang "Oh, Canada".

  7. They've been given celebrity status and seem to be loving it. I'm guessing a pack of losers enjoying their 15 minutes.

Oddly enough, there was a reference from one to another about being a "celebrity".

Honest to God, it's like riding the high school bus.
