Another topic that should be off-limits when on the train and you speak at a decibel level best suited for a night club

Debating whether the "Jewish Holocaust" really happened and that desecrating a Synagogue with hate messages written in spray paint isn't news and that "Jews need to get over it".

If I walked into a Church and destroyed the altar, spray-painted Jesus blue and spilled all the Holy Water, I'm sure this would be equally awful and upsetting and would be just as "news-worthy" to ANYONE.

I'm done. End of rant. Wish I never bore audio witness to the conversation.

  1. I'm Jewish and I'm used to the debate but the get over it bit bothers me. Get over what?

Synagogue or Church - Temple or Mosque, spray painting any religious building with any kind of message or graffiti is offensive and needs media coverage for police to alert the public and try to get witnesses. There's no Jewish person telling someone to do this.

  3. Hye, it's a free country. People wanna debate the Holocaust, go nuts. For some people they can't imagine 6 million people gone in 4 years.

  4. Absolutely it's a free country ... which is why being ignorant isn't a crime. I can't unhear what I heard so I'm venting.

  5. What a twat. The Holocaust isn't even something that should be debated at all. Does this person also debate the Rwandan, Armenian, Chechnyan, Bosnian and other genocides? Oh nevermind, they're probably too ignorant to be remotely aware of those.

  6. It's stupid to say that politics and religion should not be discussed in public. I agree that the whole "get over it" is insensitive, but religious folk go apeshit when people merely say "I don't believe in god."

  7. The number of people more than willing to display their own ignorance and stupidity in full view of the rest of us never ceases to amaze me.

    "Get over it?"

How about you get over the kick in the nuts I just gave you for being a moronic asshole.
