Didja feel that?
An earthquake for about 5 seconds shook my office tower here at Queen and Bay at 1:51 pm.
Of course, I took to Twitter and learned I wasn't the only one to feel it.
How about you? Called my hubby at the golf course where he works and he felt nothin' ...
Maybe it's because I'm 17 floors up.
Here's more info on what was felt.

Yes, I did. I am 8 floors up. At first I was like WTF? Then I realized it was an earthquake.
Queen & Bay? C.J., we are just steps away from each other if you are looking to get together to discuss our mutual love for Kenny Chesney!!! :p
BTW, I felt NOTHING but I have some FB friends that are in New Jersey, Virginia and Pennsylvania and they all felt it.
Didn't feel this one. Last time when it hit Quebec we felt it shake a lot more here.
I felt this one stronger then one just before G20! I am at bay and Queens Quay and 14 floors up.....
I am at Bay and King, 30 floors up, and felt nothing. I got gypped. :o(
I am at Bay and Wellington, 26th floor and I felt it. The water in my glass was sloshing around.
Simcoe and Wellington 28th floor. Definitely felt it.
I'm at Yonge and Queen, 21st floor. I felt nothing. Boo. I have yet to feel an earthquake. At least, with me being aware of it anyway.
O.M.G.
What is wrong with some of you!?
Why the f$ck would you WANT an earthquake or feel down about missing what could have possibly been THE earthquake of all earthquakes!?
I have a kid I'd like to go home to.
I don't get the "excitement". Be grateful people! You don't ever want to experience a natural disaster. Ever!!!
Look at Goderich. That looks like fun?!
Sorry, I don't mean to get all grumpy but earthquakes are not exciting. They can be tragic, deadly events.
@Taya
I get what you're saying but I think some people are simply striving for the "I was there" angle.
Of course people are grateful it was merely a tremor.
It ruined my Jenga game.
@Taya - I think people were commenting (implied) on the fact that it's odd some buildings shook and people felt it while others a street or two over, did not. That's my take.
Didn't feel a thing. But then my office is located in the centre of a streetcar loop, so it pretty much feels like an earthquake about every 10 minutes.
I wass on the 6th floor near University & Queen, and felt nothing... unlike with the quake centred in Quebec we had not so long ago, where the whole building swayed.
Taya - don't be such a drama queen, take a pill and FYI, Goderich was a tornado, not an earthquake.
