ooooo... I hope buddy by the window got up and moved a few times (bathroom anyone) and made her move that behemoth of a suitcase.

And by all means go ahead and cross your legs and get comfy.

I don't understand - what else could she do with this suitcase?

Don't say "don't travel" - GO's rules about lugagge allow that size suitacse if you can carry it unaided (which clearly she can).

GO's stated mission is to provide service to everyone, not just unladen commuters.

Perhaps go to the accessibility coach OR take one of the seats closer to the door OR move it into the aisle when the train is moving. As it is, she has completely blocked 2 seats to anyone else unless of course someone wants to sit sideways on the aisle seat.

Yea - what lswgirl13 said!

Why not take the GO bus where you can store your luggage underneath where it doesn't block anyone from sitting/standing?

Sheesh.

How about she pick a bench seat near the doors? And get her damn feet off the seat.

The accessibility coach has spaces that can accomodate this size bag instead of taking up all the seats and if she has to take ONE seat for her bag she should be standing beside it to allow for other passengers to sit.

The accessibility coach is for people with physical disabailites, not people with luggage. Further, if they sit close to the door, then putting in the aise blocks more people, not fewer.

As for "take the GO bus", that ignores my point that GO provides service (both train and bus) for everyone, baggage or not.

Feet on the seats is bad, however.

was this during rush hour? bags are people too ok.

Tom, the accessibility coach is provided for greater accessibility in general... not *just* for physical disabilities. Someone needing greater 'accessibility' within their car because they have luggage would be correct to use it.

Yes that is correct Tom. However if you read the documentation PLASTERED all over the accessibility coach, handicapped passengers have priority over luggage. Have you ever tried to access the accessibility coach during rush hour when a) you are handicapped, or b) have large luggage - GOOD LUCK. I believe we should stack all the accessibility coach quad hogs who call it the 'hospitality coach' one on top of the other in those sections allocated for larger baggage. Voila plenty of room now for that coach's true purposes...just saying

Context context. If the train was half empty this is not an issue. Rush hour yes. Some people are not go riders and just don't know where they should board with luggage/or are to late to get to the middle coach. Ps have not read all the comments. Hope this is not a repeat.
