I hope people are recommending this story in The Toronto Star (featuring some choice quotes by Yours Truly) because they know such cozy comfort is gonna get ugly on the TTC and are excited about the drama it will cause.
Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe it will all be tea, and 1 o'clock gin and the sharing of crumpets. Unlike GO, where 8 times out of 10 you see the same people everyday, the TTC means a whole bunch of randoms for the duration of your travel.
Good luck Toronto!

I read the story this morning ... that's how I found you :)
Welcome Teena
Hopefully I can make a lifer out of you.
The last line of the article reads: "Maybe it’s time for GO to launch a campaign to encourage people to take the window seat."
Um hello? If I wanted a window seat, I'd have taken a window seat.
I do swing my legs around so someone can get to the inside seat. I'm not a total b****. :o)
I heard about this on the radio this morning. Honestly, not a huge fan of the quad's on the GO, would rather see more of the 2-seat'ers.
How many hits CJ???
I cam here because of Louroz's comment. Give me a break. The only priority seating is where designated. I don't like sit near the window and lots of people feel this way so don't be a jerk and buy some headphones. Hopefully he reads this.
So you have to ask people to move to let you in. Wah wah wah. Poor baby. People like you should ride VIA. Or walk.
Oh dear lord. I can only imagine how this is gonna work on the 501 Queen car line, which always - always - is full of crazy. Seriously, that route gave me a drinking problem.
I'm imagining the homeless bums rolling their trash carts into the quad and building forts.
Who came up with this brilliant idea?
And Mercader needs to grow a pair. If people don't swing over to allow passengers to sit by the window, then make sure your bag hits them as you squeeze by. And don't apologize. How do you think CJ and I get around?
@Fred
I've been too nervous to look. The volume of email is crazy. It could take me days to respond. Best thing was to just shut it all down and look at it later tonight.
I prefer the aisle seating, there is more room for my luggage.
@RonNasty: LOL Good one!
