dir·ty lineback·er [Proun. derty linebacker] -s
noun
- GO commuters who board a coach at the last possible second before the train departs and charge down the aisle like it's the final three seconds of a football game and they've got the ball. Note. You're on the train. You can stop running
- GO commuters who walk down the aisle of a coach carrying backpacks, laptop bags and purses the size of a suitcase and manage to slam these items into the heads or shoulders of people sitting in the outside seats of quads
Dirty linebackers are also the people who charge through the coaches as the train approaches the last stop where they then crowd around the doors closest to the parking lot gates and become door donkeys.
ReplyDeleteI get purses to the head every day! Good to know these creatures have a name.
