I have spoken to the Donkeys face to face. More than a few times actually. I make them move and ask why they feel it necessary to stand and block the doorway? They always say something brilliant like "because I feel like it". Maybe next time I will stand on the platform with my cellpohne, take a pic and say smile!! And send it to CJ to post on her site while.
I dont have any problem with door blockers really, so long as they move out of the way to let passengers on/off. I do not think pasengers boarding need to say excuse me either, you (and I) are the ones in the way, if you see someone coming then you should prepare to move and if you dont notice them and they do say excuse me then you should apologize and jump out of the way.
ACTION PLAN: Lay down some Door Donkey repellent: Saddle up to them, mingle even. Let a good SBD rip. Watch the door donkeys' reactions. Do it everyday! Have your friends join you. Start a Club called the "DD Ripper Trippers"

Awesome! We all need to grab a bunch of copies, highlight that S/O and hand them out to the DDs we see.

ReplyDelete@Door Donkey Club is it really necessary to resort to name calling?
ReplyDelete@VanessaLSW: That's what happens when people run out of legitimate arguments. Makes them feel like they've "won".
ReplyDeleteYou guys really need a new hobby. Go pick on the people who talk on cellphones for the whole ride.
ReplyDelete@Anon, we'd love to, but we can't get in the freakin' door!
