I can't confirm if these pictures are indeed what happened after a Ferrari driver attempted to outrun a GO train five years ago according to an email. Some sharp-eyed railhead will probably smell a rat but they're neat and show why you'll never win in a contest against a train.

If true, then the car (and driver) got off lucky - see www.youtube.com/watch?v=ekpD06P7kiI for what happens in a full-on broadside. (Hint: the 5-star safety rating of the car doesn't help).
