They forgot!

I work in Scotia Plaza. Every year the PA system goes off to remind us all that it is 11 o'clock and then two minutes later, it sounds again to mark the end of silence.

This year . . . nothing. They forgot.

They forgot them ... men and woman who so bravely fought and so many of them who gave their lives (and continue to fight) so that they would have the privilege of being allowed to forget.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning, I will remember them.

Thank you to all who did remember!

  1. I am in Bay/Adelaide Centre and they annouced it. I was very pleased that they did. Too many people forget....

  2. I was shopping at Vaughan Mills mall today and they made an announcement throughout the mall and all the stores to observe two minutes of silence.

  3. I work in Scotia Plaza and apparently they did not forget, they just have decided not to make the announcement anymore
