Well guess what? I'm putting the site on hiatus starting this Friday and publishing will resume on January 3rd, 2012.
I may publish a New Year's greeting and I may wish you all a Merry Christmas and if I get a drunken text or two, I'll throw those up in case you get bored and are looking for something to read.
You know what's a good drink? An amaretto sour. But only the way I make it. Take eight ounces of lemon juice. Add two tablespoons of sugar. Shake the crap out of that in a cocktail shaker. That's your sweet and sour mix. Take three ounces of that, pour it into a glass with ice and add one ounce of Disaronno Amaretto Liqueur. That's my holiday drink. It's my gift to you. Enjoy.

This actually makes me feel better. I am on a plane on Wednesday and will be without a computer until the new year. At least I won't be missing much.
I wish I had this week off. But alas... my work gives us the week between Christmas and New Year's - awesome - and I think The Crazy Train needs a break.

That drink is awesome. I had 3 in a row last night while I was making truffles. You can see when the alcohol kicked in because those balls got much bigger than the ones made when I was sober.
ps. I don't really want to take a break but since I won't be riding the train, I suspect content will be minimal.

I swear some of these people just make up shit to get a rise out of people. I still think my favorite from last year was the "Oshawa" talk.

And yes, people do make stuff up, like (fingers crossed) the cousin one. But like the other shout out below it, yes, I did hear the banjos.
