Thoughts? Aren't these people finding it a bit cold for bare wear?

Personally (and I know I've made this very well known) I can't handle someone's bare feet or even sock covered feet next to me on a train. I don't care to look at your feet or smell them. Usually, if a quad mate throws his or her feet up on the seat next to me, I make a big production of a) taking a photo and b) leaving with a few choice comments muttered.

I hate it. I hate, hate, HATE it. You can hate me for hating it. I'll just hate you back.

  1. I have flipped over to wearing socks to bed. Once that happens, it is too cold to be going without some sort of covering between your foot and shoe/great outdoors.

Besides, many footriders know it is wrong and get defensive when asked to move them. I was on the train back in the spring with Padre and we were talking. Apparently some chickipoo (behind me) had her feet on the seats and got all defensive when she interrupted our conversation to say that what she was doing was "ok" because she wiped her mess off the seats afterwards. I laughed.

  4. DISCLAIMER: I don't approve of people putting their feet on the seats in any form.

That aside, it might be interesting to see a poll of which was "less" rude: Shoes/boots on the seat, or bare feet/socks on the seat.

  6. Two words: Fucking disgusting.

A few more: Not everyone has the same personal hygiene. Furthermore, after working all day, socks or not, I don’t want your sweaty, smelly, toe-jam covered feet any closer to my face than the distance between my face and the floor requires them to be. I’m sure they don’t want my ass-bacon in their face, so they should keep their feet where they belong.

  7. Feet are gross.

On a funnny related topic to this post, I saw a guy yesterday evening walking down the street wearing a pair of birkenstock sandals carrying a toboggan. Figure that one out! haha
