Fisticuffs broke out this morning. One woman tried to save a scarce seat for a friend and another woman took the seat, saying, ‘No saving seats.’ When the friend came along, she sat on the woman’s lap. Sounds hellish, according to my co-worker who takes that train. They really got into it. Don't know who won.

Love it! No saving seats! Good on the woman who sat regardless.
ReplyDeleteWow...insane. Definitely good on that person that took the seat.
ReplyDeleteIf the car still had plenty of seats, than I have no issue with seat saving...but as soon as seats become scarce.....TOO BAD! First come, first served!
Frankly, that's border-line assault. If it had been a guy that did the same thing...he'd probably be arreseted......
I would have paid money to see that!
ReplyDeleteOhhhhh WOW, I would have killed to see that!
ReplyDeleteI would like to think that everyone in that car offered moral support, (and other support if necessary), to the women who was sat on......
ReplyDeleteAnymore details Jess?!
Unreal! These people should have never made it out of kindergarten. I would give up my bus seat so a parent & child or elderly couple can sit together, but everybody else can whistle.
ReplyDeleteUpdate! Update! Who won? I'm rooting for the lady who was sat on.
ReplyDeleteooh... this is my train but wasn't my car. I would have stuck up for the woman who sat no problem! No seat saving. Good on her for standing her ground (ok sitting).
ReplyDeleteJess left and moved to another coach, according to her email to me, as she was getting ready to get off at Union. But an argument did occur. She doesn't know who won.
