Bus Riding Donkey

I just had to tell you about my experience riding on the Go Bus yesterday. I was shocked and horrified by the behaviour of a passenger.
I know, I know, I should be used to the donkeys after riding the Go bus most weekdays for the last 3 years.
They were doing some sort of useless survey on the bus about how you get to the station, where you take the bus from, etc. etc.
Well, the poor woman, who was doing the surveys was seating in the front row, taking up two seats, with a boatload of clipboards and a flurry of other items.
Well, she got an earful from this donkey who was insistent that since he paid for a ticket, and she was taking up two seats, that she needed to move all her stuff
so he could sit in "his regular seat" in the front row. He could not go further back as his hip hurts and he is a paying customer.
Meanwhile the rest of us are all waiting outside to get on and just get home.
After about 5 to 10 minutes she finally moved all her stuff, which she was trying to organize, to let him sit in "his" seat.
I have to say that the bus was half empty and all he had to do was go back maybe two rows and he had a seat.
I mean, really, suck it up cupcake. What a whiny, ignorant man. She was just trying to do her job and there were plenty of seats, and near to the front of the bus.
My five year old is so much more mature than this nasty jerk!
I made a rather loud comment about ignorant people as I was finally able to get past to go find a seat for myself.
Unfortunately for me this ass is usually at my stop. Oh, joy to me!

WHAT?
C'mon .... is the dude autistic or suffering from aspergers because then I can say, ok, it's a mental thing...

That's just wrong, rude and low. Poor woman. Did anyone come to her defence? The bus driver???

The bus driver tried to get the ass to move back and take another seat. His feet were glued to the spot and he would not move.
The woman was trying to be very polite and hold her ground but he simply would not move, so she moved all of her work, just so we could finally go.
There were several comments to the effect of "are you serious" when he was going on and on.
I really felt bad for the lady just trying to do her job. I'm sure she doesn't get paid enough to take that kind of crap!

I can kinda see where this guy is coming from: I have been injured so my mobility has been compromised on occasion. So it could be a legitimate thing. Maybe he can't navigate the bus, when moving, to disembark? Also, I have learnt to stand at the front of the bus because the stop has been missed. Maybe the seat selection was based on similar reasoning?

BUT, why on god's green earth would they decide to conduct a survey. on a bus. during what I am assuming is rush hour?

I think the reasons why people take GO during rush hour are pretty evident, they should be doing this survey for the off-peak times.

Well he looked very jaunty getting on and off the bus this morning. I thing he is just a whiny b*@#ch personally. There were plenty of seats on the bus, plenty! And just a couple of rows back. It really shouldn't have been a problem. I feel for people who have mobility issues but this guy was just way over the top!

I don't mind survey's during rush hour...if you only did it during off hours you would miss gather info from the vast majority of your riders.

Further, why place all the info to consume two seats, keep the materials, stored elsewhere and consume just one spot, or stand if you have to. There are a number of jobs which require significant periods of time on your feet.

having said all that, probably was just a whiny B1tch.

The guy walked up a set of stairs to get onto the bus, and he can't take a few more steps inside to sit the next row back?

I call lazy and self-entitled.

Ok, so you are a paying customer, blah blah blah, but there is no such thing as his regular seat. I bet your ticket doesn't have a seat number stamped onto it now, does it? So he is just arrogant who wants the whole world to feel sorry for his lazy butt.

If she had her luggage spread out on the seat beside her you'd be flipping out on her. There is no reason regardless of how busy he bus is for her to take up two seats. And btw the bus is not her office. Ya sure the guy was a jerk but he was entitled to he seat.
