They do this because they know they won't be towed

See those diagonal striped lines? They mean: "YOU CAN'T PARK HERE. THIS SPACE IS NEEDED IN THE EVENT AN AMBULANCE OR FIRE TRUCK NEEDS TO MANEUVER AROUND PARKED CARS". But these two clowns don't care about you, or your life, or the rules. According to DF, there were plenty of legal spots available at the Ajax GO lot but these two illegal spots are closer to the platform.

  1. There are always jerks that park there. They even start parking 2 deep - into the road way.

GO is switching more and more legal parking spots to pay spots in the South Lot. The lazies don't like this, so park there because it's closest to the stairs to the station.

  2. Maybe they'll get clipped by a snow plow (if it ever snows this winter).

  3. You are actually assuming that GO plows the parking lots.

Mind you, I haven't been driving this winter, but in years past, I parked in this lot so that I didn't have to deal with the gently sloping south lot. That was never plowed and therefore a perpetual ice rink until the thaw set in.

  4. I used to have a friend who drove a tow truck. He used to tow people’s cars around a corner and shit when they pissed him off.

    Anyone know any tow-truck drivers?

  5. I walk my ass every day from the new expansion lot down by Blaisdale Montessori. It seriously takes me the SAME amount of time to get to the station platform which is like 5 MINUTES! It's funny because I bet 99% of these lazy people actually walk a longer distance from Union Station to their office buildings. Some people's children....

  6. It takes me 25 mins to walk home. Or it takes me 10 mins to reach my car in the middle of the first South Lot - have to dodge the turtles.

This is why I am avoiding the whole think like the plague when I have to. Not enough of a time difference and with driving a whale, the stress caused by these idiots that force me to drive the long way out of the parking lot is just not worth it.
