VIA train derails in Burlington. Three VIA employees dead

How scary and how sad for the families of those injured and killed.

I often think about such a scenario with the GO trains and it's pretty frightening.
My thoughts are with these families at this difficult time.

  1. Very sad and scary indeed. Seeing the first car laying on its side makes me rethink my habit of sitting at the front of the train.

  2. I had no idea it had happened. But then again, apparently I am a loser who has better things to do on a weekend then watch TV.

    And now it makes sense why some guy (with notepad) asked me at Union if I came from the west.
