Only in a first world country...

As a mother who makes lunches every night, this pisses me off.
Then there's the littering which causes me to ask (which will be followed by an email) why there are no garbage receptacles at City of Clarington (Region of Durham) transit stops?

  1. There are garbage cans at *some* stops in Ajax. Not the busy ones, but some of the other ones.

And I can testify that I am pretty certain they are never emptied. The one at my stop in the morning has been over-flowing with bags of dog pooh for a couple weeks now. I think eventually the garbage will decompose and becomes ooze at the bottom of the can.
