The cars are leased. So they probably just got a new batch. They use police car models so that's why the Brampton built Charger. I actually have no problems with this.
A public transportation company, which touts itself about how it’s so much cleaner than driving to work every day, should really be booting around in a Prius or even a Chevy Volt.
I would assume that they acquired these vehicles so they could speed to the scene of a parking infraction like some donkey parking in an aisle. What? you mean they don't deal with these sorts of problems? Gee I guiess its hard understand what they need the vehicles fo in that case.
Well, they have to get to the station somehow, right? And I'm sure they also sometimes need to get between stations quickly and are unable to use the train itself to do so -- accident on the tracks, etc.
How do you expect the GO constables to get to a passenger issue on a bus in a timely fashion if they're on foot or bike. There are a lot of things spends silly money on like new pass punchers weeks before they announce they're discontinuing the passes. This really is a non issue. Besides these cars are not that extravagant. It's not like they're BMWs. Also cars built in Ontario which if the Ontario government is buying cars is a good thing.

Well, now we know where the fare increase went. 'cuz it sure wasn't to their communications department.

I've got three nice horses born in Hampton Ontario they can ride.

Completely unnecessary. They should be driving small fuel efficient cars, absolutely no need for this gas guzzling pig.
Guess we can expect yet another rate hike to pay for the gas to keep these babies running...;(
Wow! What a waste of money, couldn't they put more officers on foot, bike, bus or train patrol?

They should have bought a smart car - it's the only thing that can get round Oshawa GO lot once it's full
ANYONE who drives a Smart car should be embarrassed.
