All the single ladies!

You know those stick-figure decals on the back of family SUVs and mini-vans? They're supposed to tell you how many people are in the vehicle owner's family. I saw this last night from the bus. Sorry for the blurriness. The bus was moving. Because you know, that's what buses do.

You go girl!

  1. I can't tell what it is :(

Anyhoodles, I have thought about getting some of those. Of course, it would be a woman stick figure and a whole bunch of cat stick figures. Only have 1 fuzzy moron right now, but why not go all the way with the Crazy Cat Lady motif?

  2. It was lone stick figure of a woman.
And it was missing about 4 cats!

  3. Good for her!

I have thought of getting those too (I like the zombie ones), but I don't think there is enough room on the back of the van. One man, one woman, 5 children (all girls 17-22), two dogs, four rabbits, two cats . . .

Maybe I can go and live with the owner of that car.

  4. The whole idea of these things is just a privacy issue for me. Why would I want any stranger who happens to see my vehicle to know who/what is in my family? I don't know - for myself fine but for my son - I have a high sensitivity to anything that might alert creeps to his existence.

  5. And also - why would you want to let someone know that you are a woman living alone? Bad idea I think. Just asking for someone creepy to follow you home. I would forego the cat icons and get one of a large, angry looking dog.

  6. Are there angry large zombie dogs? I could go for that.

  9. Yesterday I saw one that had the family name above the stick figures and their names under each one. Just wrong. That is inviting all the wrong people to know your kids names.
