And the official word from Presto, 1 week after their technical error with transit usage reports is...
"Hi there, sorry for the delay we are working to get them up as soon as possible."

Well, they are certainly earning their paycheque this month.
This update should have come before the weekend. All they are doing is showing their incomptence and holding up people from filing their income tax returns. We pay for the service - through fares and taxes - they can't get their act in gear to give timely updates for when they screw up.
Instead of bribing us with our own money for the service guarantee, they should have been updating their systems to not further antagonize people. And yes, I am grumpy.
On a side note, I have had my fare checked Friday and this morning. Where were these people at the beginning of the month? They could have actually earned their paycheque.
I think it's funny that when they made us switch to Presto last year they kept talking about income tax time and how we could access our transit usage reports with "ease" to help claim public transit...I wonder what they consider to be difficult?
I'm to the point now, if I'm audited again for my transit credit, I will just sent my report (if I ever get it and it's right or wrong) along with my transaction history reports to CRA and let them figure it out.
I'm kind of thinking the same thing, since it's been said on here that someone (Bicky perhaps, I can't recall who) sent in their usage reports and that was good enough. These "year end FINAL" reports seem to elude all sense of common sense.
@anonymous, 9:06am... yes it was me who said CRA accepted my transaction history report that I sent with my official report. I explained that my usage report was wrong and directed them to the other. I was sure to highlight my Presto card number so they knew it matched.

What on earth are those IT people at Presto do all day?

This is ridiculous.
Q: How many Presto IT people does it take to get a report up?
A: "Due to technical difficulties, this answer is not available. Please check back soon for any updates. We apologize for any inconvenience."

Does anyone know if there is a legal deadline that they have to have tax info released? I thought it was Feb 28...can anyone confirm?
UPDATE: My report was up this morning. I think it's actually right this time.
