But seriously, we all know what went down on the Richmond Hill corridor (the train, in water) but what wasn't profiled very much was why service was interrupted on the Lakeshore West corridor. Sure, we were told there was flooding but oh no, it was more than that.

All open now and back to normal. Dixie road is a mess still, but usable.
Actually I made a slight mistake in terminology. It wasn't a sinkhole they were worried about but a slouch. Sort of like a teenager does when watching TV.

GO tweeted they filling the gap with buses...
The bridge was not damaged. Just a bunch of water washed out the ballast west of the bridge. There was a hole under each of the 3 tracks. It was filled in by Wednesday morning with more ballast.
