Yes, you will have to take a bus from Yorkdale, Sheppard, York Mills, Finch or Scarborough Town Centre

Or you can do what I did and hunt down a co-worker with a car and a kind heart.

The LSE is a shitshow tonight. Trains are not running between Union and Pickering and then it's shuttle trains between Pickering and Oshawa which means it's probably a 4-car length train that only holds 400 passengers and it's only ONE train.

I'm being driven as far as Ajax. I'm sure it will be a shitshow for me from there as I join the thousands of other people on buses.

Ugh.

Hopefully my co-worker will take me all the way home. I'm going to use my Puss n' Boots face. Or I call my husband and beg.

  1. I am staying at work until A) it clears and trains start running again or B) until the main rush of people has left and the buses may not be that bad.

But then again, if it is really late when I am leaving, I am at home tomorrow.

  3. LSE- if you take the subway to yorkdale there is a minimal like to go east. You will get a seat...the bus jams up at York Mills and worse at STC

  5. Thankfully, I got a ride with my brother last night. Traffic was heavy but not too bad.

  6. I took the Stouffville train to Scarborough. Then two TTC buses to Guildwood because GO didn't find it necessary to have contingency plans for anyone going to Guildwood or Rouge Hill. Every other stop seemed to be addressed. My commute home was double what it normally is.
