Live action douchebaggery at the Richmond Hill GO
She's parked right in the no parking zone and refusing to move...this is at Richmond Hill this morning.
See the no parking sign? See the road markings under it? We tooted the horn and the female driver just ignored us...she feels she's entitled and actually moved around and tried to find a better spot in the no parking zone!

She's not parked, she's stopped. That's why we have both no parking signs and no stopping signs.
ReplyDeleteBoth are not allowed here. She needs four flat tires for me to forgive her.
ReplyDeleteshe was also aligning her vehicle to get the closest spot to the presto machine for her male passenger. there was plenty of room in the pick/up drop off lanes right next to it.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to have to agree that it looks like she's stopped, not parked. She's not even 5 feet away from the pick up/drop off lanes... I've seen way worse in this parking lot. If she actually parked there (turn off car, boarded train) then it's a different story. Pick your battles.
ReplyDeleteDid she indeed park there for the purposes of all day parking or did she just stop briefly to let off a passenger.
ReplyDeleteI'd say briefly dropping off a passenger isn't the priority. Its if she left her car there all day then the gloves will come off
Imagine if everyone started doing this? Then what? What is emergency services need to come to the station, where do they go?
ReplyDeleteshe did not just stop there to drop off someone. she carefully aligned and parked her car there, trying to find the perfect spot. we honked and she ignored us. and carried on practicing her parking skills and talking to her passenger.
ReplyDeleteI've heard of people placing Allen wrenches under tires facing up at an angle, so that when the person goes to back out, it punctures the tire and boom, instant flat. Done on multiple tires for greater effect (nobody has more than one spare...)
ReplyDeleteParking lot justice is a dish best served deflated.
thats richmond hill for you, you should see the self entitled assholes who have gigantic SUVS or pickups create their own spots at richmond hill silver city on busy nights, because they are too lazy to walk from the parking lot near the viva terminal, on busy nights i go straight there....
ReplyDeleteThis is a daily occurrence at the Bramalea GO Station.
ReplyDeleteJust like all the people who won't park in the Kiss N Ride and opt to wait to pick up their passengers in the parking lot commuters are trying to leave from.
It's an every man/woman for them-self mentality.
