subject: Feet on seats..... who cares?! And remove my photo
Dear Fucking Creep with Two Much Time on YOUR Hands.
Thanks for creeeping my instragram and stealing my photo for your stupid web site. Did I giveyou permission?!! NO!!! What I do on a go train is my fucking business not yours. You really need a life you loser. What business is of yorus where my feet are??? Why teh fuck should you care???? You creep people's instagrams and take photos that don't belong to you and then you put them on your site for people to judge. you don't know anything about me like how I volunteer my time at scholl helping international students or that I see my nan at her retirement home every weekend and we play scrabble for hours. I'm so decent and you do this to me. First of all, it wasn't raining or bad weather that day and my feet were dry. I didn't walk in dog shit! I would know if I stepped it dog shit. Don't you think it would smell???? And it's plastic seats. Use your tongue to clean it, you loser!!! TAKE MY PICTURE DOWN. You have no right to use it.
Thank you......
Jess

Dear Jess,
Oh my god, you play Scrabble?! I love Scrabble. What's your best word? Mine is "SQUISHED" but I've had better over the years. I've attached a screen shot from the Facebook version of the game. We should totally play.
Problem is, I'm really good at the game. My husband won't even play me. Of course, he plays words like cat and ball, and doesn't stack them and stuff - drives me nuts. It's so bad that my sister burned her copy of the game at the cottage. She was pissed I kept winning... and she's a Rhodes scholar! I'm told that all our friends hide the game when I come over because they can't deal with the humiliation.
I'm pretty sure I would beat the pants off you, seeing as you can't spell "school", but I think it's wonderful you play for hours with your nan. Do you put your shoes up on her bed and all over her quilt, too, when you play?
Tell you what, since you swear you're decent, when you go to visit your nan next weekend, take a picture of yourself with your shoes on standing right on the pillow of her bed. It's supposed to be dry and nice out on Saturday, so that shouldn't be a problem.
If it's not a problem on a train seat, then it shouldn't be a problem on nan's pillow, right?
Let me know what email address I should use to send you a Facebook friend request so we can play Scrabble online together.
I would like that.
Cj
Hahaha, love it!
ReplyDeleteWhich instagram picture are we talking about? Please link it, so we can put a name to the face...uh, I mean feet.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, our international student volunteer didn't think to link it and I have so many pictures of footriders, I wouldn't know.
ReplyDeleteI have sent her an email.
Please keep us up to date on her response.
ReplyDeleteIf she complains about the picture again, perhaps your fuzzy lawyer friends could get involved.
I hope she doesn't help international students with their spelling. *smh*
ReplyDeleteIf it's on the Internet, I don't think you have a reasonable expectation of privacy. There's fair use rules and such... CJ is not making a profit using the pic, so unless it's locked down and can't be saved out... oh well.
"I hope she doesn't help international students with their spelling" - my first thought, too!
ReplyDeleteI love how people post pictures and link it by using hashtags and then think people stalk their pictures... here's a thought don't hash tag your photo's!
ReplyDeleteJess, what you do on a GO Train is my business so I can avoid where you've been. Why I should care is because I have empathy. It doesn't matter if your feet are clearly dirty or your feet are hospital sanitized, your feet do not belong on the seats.
ReplyDeleteThis Jess dude should realize that he/she has no expectation of privacy when in public. In fact, I'll bet you dollars to donuts that she would be pulling her phone out and recording anything bad going on. Go figure!
ReplyDeleteThese foot riders are a huge cancer on any transit system. I encourage people to start fist fights if that will teach them a lesson. Make sure you're trained in Kung Fu before embarking on such stunt.
this girl needs to learn, if you put it on the internet with hashtags, you relinquish privacy, most kids dont get this.... btw, can someone sane please explain why instagram is a thing ever? because i dont get it..
ReplyDeleteWhoa rage-a-holic!
ReplyDelete"What business is of yorus where my feet are???"
ReplyDeleteDear Jess, as a daily rider of GO it is MY business where your feet are. And also, those seats you are so delicately resting your feet on? They are cloth, not plastic. Do you think Go Transit sterilizes those every night?? You may otherwise be a nice person, but does that mean you are entitled to behave as if you're in your living room on a train that is used by thousands of others too? Perhaps then you wouldn't mind if us "others" came to your house and used your couch in the same manner? Just sayin.
This is why I love this blog. No matter how bad I'm feeling, no matter what mood I'm in, there's always someone worse off than me trying to bully CJ.
ReplyDeleteWithout the least effect of course. I wonder if she'd like someone visiting her place after walking across a parking lot and putting their feet on her couch with the shoes on?
Another Internet loser who doesn't realize that nothing publically viewable on the Net is private.
what George said!
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving CJ, I must say I'm curious what's on the menu.
Keep smiling!
Heaven help those international students that are being helped by an illiterate, foul mouthed albeit decent moron. I'm sure her Nana doesn't dispute her words in Scrabble either...teh, yorus, scholl,creeeping...they're all words right??
ReplyDeleteYou took the picture in a public place. No expectation of privacy and fair use. Tell her to pound sand. She has zero legal right. Now, if she asked nice you might have taken it down. But she didn't. . .
ReplyDeleteDid he think Instagram was private? Not very bright.
ReplyDeleteI just used the word "VERTIGO" on a board game in the triples.
ReplyDeleteLife is good.
These kinds of posts make me despair for humanity.
ReplyDelete1. Someone behaves in a socially inappropriate way.
2. When this is pointed out to them, they go nuts with personal insults and statements that amount to "I can do anything I want". Not even a trace of adult maturity or restraint.
Just the other day, I saw some self-entitled sort sitting on the subway with his bicycle. He was occupying two seats, and blocking two more with the bike. The subway car had filled up and people were standing.
What could have been going through his mind? Something like "well, I ride a bicycle, so society owes me"? Did no one teach these people that it's not some sort of point system, where so long as the total is above zero, you're alright?
My suspicion is that there just wasn't enough Dad around ready to lay down the law every time they acted like brats as a kid.
