A man who had trespassed onto train tracks is dead after he was struck by a southbound GO train around 6:20 pm Saturday evening.
York Regional Police were called to the scene near Timothy Street in Newmarket where the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to police, the death is not considered accidental. No further information has been provided.
