Life time GO Transit pass? Wishing you all the best in your future endeavors Mr. McNeil!

  1. So much more than a train pass; it looks like a system-wide transit pass. Does this mean we continue to pay for GO Transit employees to ride for free when they retire? Does anyone smell a fare increase in the offing?

  4. GO Transit employees don't use PRESTO cards to ride the rails and buses.

  5. I'm ok with him getting free rides as long as that is the actual card he has to carry along. I think that is a small price to pay for free transportation.

  6. Free rides for retirees has been in effect since 1985.

I hardly think a fare increase is required for that. Gary can now ride the entire GO system for free as a retiree.

Best of luck in the future Gary.

  7. Most transit agencies in the GTA give their employees and retirees free rides with the exception of YRT/VIVA
