Today's the day Metrolinx asks the board to raise fares 4.8% for GO Transit

The agenda pegs the fare increase as item #19 on the list.

Don't hold your breath.

You will be paying more in the new year.

I'm done blogging for today.

  1. Oh CJ, you sound so beaten down. I am sure someone at Presto is taking you seriously. Today is just a bad day being it the board meeting and all. Sit tight.

In my eyes, you are a lobbyist for GO Transit and its customers. You are doing a fantastic job. Chin up, girl!

  2. Thanks. Thanks for the hug.

But I'm not beaten down... just really unimpressed and trying my best to remain professional as I find the fare increase a huge insult considering all of the Presto drama and Metrolinx providing nothing but lip service about how great and world class the system is.

It's not. Not when it's stealing money from passengers.

  3. Hey fat ass
Did you ever think that mnaybe the fare increase was to help improve Presto?

And you won't publish this comment because why would you publish anything that explains money to help provide better service?

We get it. You need that penny from each day really bad. It' snot Presto's fault your broke!

  4. You're right. How could my fat ass have been so misguided?

  5. Why the fat ass comment!! Your point could have been made without that comment, however with that ignorant bully comment everything after it was a moot point since your clearly too stupid to engage in a sensible debate with out name calling to emphasize your point. Because the millions they already spent to initialize Presto should not have been good enough to create a reliable glicth free system?

  6. only an immature bully and imbecile starts off his comment with a personal attack by calling someone a fat ass and then has no back up to his actual point.

  7. @PR presto is a severely dated boondoogle, always has been, always will be.... im all for "getting with the times" if it improves my life, but this doesnt, theres an old saying metrosux ignored "if it aint broke, dont fix it" except they not only broke it, they brought in already dated system when they announced it (way back in 2003) that keeps needing fixing....

  10. Well, I guess they have to make up the 8% of ticket revenues (or whatever the percentage is) that Accenture is now gobbling up.

    Another $200 a year gone.
