Omigawd - I'm gonna do it.

It looks like my two sisters, my husband and my brother in law are all in for the Sporting Life 10K this May 11. All of them are runners with the exception of Chad and I so we're gonna walk it - I need this training to pay off and work to get my time to 1h:30m.

Time to really challenge myself.

Speaking of challenging myself - attending my first Body Pump class tomorrow morning. One hour of hell. I will die.

  3. You'll do great. The Yonge St 10K is called the 'Fastest 10K in Canada' because much of it is downhill. I'm a runner and have posted my best 10K times ever in that race, each year I've run it. If your training goes smooth, you'll hit your mark no doubts. You'll do amazing. Just watch out for all the people - it's quite a busy race (i.e. 25,000 people).

  4. Never made it to Body Pump - didn't get to see if I could pull it off - up most of the night feeling awful. Full blown chest and sinus cold. Yummy.

I can't run this and won't be runnig it. I can run 1K at best but I can walk 10K and can do it under 2 hours. I am looking forward to the challenge of beating my best time.
