Today's morning train ride on the Barrie line
I'd say this is an open and shut case of YOU HAD ONE JOB.
According to Syl, this panel did this for the whole train ride. Does no one carry tape?! A band-aid? If my mom was there, she'd be all over this.

Where are the door donkeys when you need them? Seriously, why didn't someone go tell the CSA? They have the keys for those things.

DeleteSurprised no one pressed the strip. #commutersindistress
ReplyDeleteHoly hell. Can't some of you just LAUGH for once?
ReplyDeleteWhy not go and tell the CSA? Because I didn't feel like giving up my seat to walk through four or five cars to get to her and walk back again.
ReplyDeleteThis would have been merely an annoyance. No need for Code Red and definitely not sacrificing a seat over. Now if it was the door - well, that's a whole different case of butter.
ReplyDeleteI've had a similar thing happen with the washroom door. Crowded train, and I wasn't about to get up and close it, knowing that the nanosecond my ass left the seat, someone was going to shove their rump where mine previously sat.
ReplyDeleteThe remarkable thing was that the slamming door didn't seem to bother anyone who was a) standing, or b) within arm's reach of the door (in the quad directly across from it).
Annoying at any time, but multiplied 1000% first thing in the morning!
