Umm... they aren't pointing the bottom of their foot at the sky, so why would see the skate?? We're seeing the top of their foot - the skate is behind.
Actually Tom has a point, it depends on how you consider the perspective of the foot. As an illustrator/designer myself, if you have to explain your design, it's a shitty design. Go ahead, take off the gloves!!!
If you like GO on Facebook, they've been posting for other sports too. Hockey (one bladed skater there too) and another one which eludes me at this very moment but it looked odd.
