"Okay, but how do you fix humiliation?" - asks The Toronto Star

The Toronto Star hasn't let up on its pressure on PRESTO. The latest installment in their series of woe shares Gabriela Sierra's dilemma of looking like a thief during fare checks.

Turns out her PRESTO card doesn't respond well to fare inspections.

  1. I would be turning 50 shades of red if that happened to me. And when I get nervous, I break out in blotches on my neck.

    Hope they get her problem solved soon.

  2. Just more proof that Presto cant do anything right?

    In regards to that story, GOs Transit Safety officers can radio in to central dispatch about the status of each Presto cardholder and whether it has been tapped.

  3. I know this is late to the party, but no, TTC Employee, we can't radio to central dispatch about the status of each Presto cardholder and whether it has been tapped. We are stuck with the limited information our card reader provides us. We have zero access to personal information related to Presto cards.
