Over-exaggerated excitement over my GO Transit Rail Safety week swag (GO Transit bag not shown)

Okay, the picture is bigger than I intended. I didn't assemble the train. My daughter has always wanted one so she can do it.

And here's the ever-charming GO Transit Safety Officers at Oshawa GO handing out said swag this morning.

  4. All they handed out at EG on Monday were a few pamphlets and a mock traffic ticket for using a cell phone while driving. Not sure how that related to rail safety, but I hope the train operators aren't using their handheld devices.

  5. I didn't see them at Whitby but then again it was 5:30 in the morning.

  8. Hey, why did you get a paper train and all we got were ugly license/insurance holders!?! On a side note, Mr. Policeman was cute, so I smiled anyway..... :D

  10. Maybe the Chainsaw(s) was/were for transit safety officers....it does seem like a waste of money...three people to hand out stuff that doesn't have much to do with safety.

  11. Sigh. We had people giving out pamphlets on Thursday. Why do they do that, these pieces of paper end up all over the tunnel and platform? Friday was a stay at home in jammies day, so who knows if they gave out the goodies that day.
