I don't like foot riding but taking someone's photo without their permission seems very wrong to me. Pulling their own pictures from Instagram is fine but I find this invasive, public transit or not.
1)Public place. The law states that there is no expectation of privacy if you are out in public. If you don't want someone to broadcast your bad behaiour, don't behave badly where people can see you (i.e. in public.
2) This person did not see fit to even attempt to ask anybody that would have to sit in her shoe and foot scrapings if they minded - so any request for reciprocal courtesy is moot.
