  4. The first thing I thought when I saw this pic was, "Cell phone?" I looked closer, and sure enough... cell phone. It's bad enough to act as a human roadblock in an already confined space, but why must those who do so always whip out their phones to ensure they are as unaware of their surroundings as possible? I suspect they know they are doing something annoying and manufacturing total oblivion with the phone as a means of avoiding eye contact with others. Who decided that electronics could function as cloaking devices? Maybe Steve Jobs suggested it in one of those keynote speeches.

  5. I've had to sit on the steps coming off a broken femur. Not handicapped, so I didn't ask for a seat. I stood up and pressed against the window so off loaders and on loaders could pass through. One of the on-loaders stopped and sat down right in the spot I had just stood up from; they then became a roadblock. If my leg had been strong enough I would have kicked them off the step, literally.

  6. I do the crotch straddle where I clmb over their head and bend down just enough that the material from pants touches the top of their head as i am directly over them ...

  7. Everday regular occurance on the LSE 4:10 train...door donkeys, stepsitters and hallhoggers all while the train is still loading and sitting at Union. Some people will never learn.
