  2. I don't condone this type of crime, but people like that man shouldn't be driving at all

  3. At least they didn't steal your car. My car has been broken into twice at the Bramalea GO Station. GO security cameras and GO bike cops don't do zip.

  5. @juliebean.
What I meant by this is that a lot of people who could use public transit to get to their destinations, could do so, but chose not to. In fact, do you think 100% of the cars on the road today should even be there. My estimate is that approx. 40% of drivers could use transit but chose not to.

  6. Anon, a little quick to jump to conclusions, no? Not everyone has access to door-to-door (or door-to-station) bus service. And if the service does exist, it may not run at times that work for you. I remember some time ago that I could either drive to my destination in 10 minutes, or take the bus and have the commute take 50+ minutes. Yeah, I took the car.

  7. True enough Anon. And I am one of those that either takes the bus or walks to/from the GO station. Unless I have an after-work appt or if I know I am staying late/leaving early, which means that the trains and buses do not always connect. In those situation, I opt to drive.

You are making a lot of assumptions about this particular person. For all you know, he opted to drive to the station ONE day because of an after-work commitment or even an event on the weekend.

Regardless of why he was parked at the station, NO ONE deserves to have their cars broken into and stuff stolen.
