Riding the train last Friday evening from Ajax to Union I actually saw two middle aged not-so-gentlemen getting tickets for dinking beer and smoking on the upper deck of a car. The officers took them downstairs and we heard the whole exchange.
Two tickets each but they never mentioned the fine amounts.
Whqat would happen if we all bought tickets on board the bus? Why, it would be exactly liek it eas pre-Presto. We managed. It's not like schedules have been tightened since then. ----- More widely, there are ltos of things we do that would be bad if everone did it, but OK if only we do it.
