Life lately

What?

So he forgot how to hamster. I feel I've forgotten how to exercise.

It's been nine weeks of pure laziness. There's been the odd bike ride here and there but I've lost my way.

This weekend was a disaster.

I've gained, but I don't know how much. I locked the scale in the shed.

I am determined to get back on track.

  1. You can do it CJ. Start today as day one and move on. Looking back is not going to help. You should be proud of how far you have come. :)

  5. Was it really "lazy"? or was it complacent? We think we are safe to go without as much exercise or have sweets and next thing you know - Boom! Changing ones lifestyle (hate that word) through diet and exercise is harder than quitting smoking because you still have to eat and you have to be vigilant everyday for a very long time - smoking can be over in about a month.
You will get back on it, you have had huge stresses with your house and when all the dust has settled you will get back on track - as you say-.

  6. I give myself lots of options so I can't make an excuse. I have a Jillians Michaels CD (30 DAY SHRED -20 MINS of intensity!). I have a static bike (the sweat!). And I have a gym very close by (I used to run but that never ends well).

    Good luck!

  10. You can do it! You've done it before, you can do it again! You have had some serious stress in your life what with two houses, so don't be so hard on yourself :) Everyone slips up. Your GO train blog fans are behind you, cheering you on!

  11. When you start looking at gyms, look at the local community centre. I don't know what they have out there but the Oshawa community centres are very reasonably priced and rarely busy.

Listen to Dakota. Today is day one. What happened yesterday doesn't matter!

  12. I'm probably going to go to one of the Clarington area community complexes but my concern is size. It's small. Platinum Family Fitness in bigger.

But right now I'm dealing with pain in my knee that just came out of nowhere yesterday. It's excruciating and I have limited range of motion in the right leg. Going down stairs hurts like hell. I can't rotate the knee to put on a sock. I have no idea what has happened!!!
