Man arrested following series of vehicle thefts in GO Train lots

A 41-year-old Brantford-area man has been arrested after a string of vehicle thefts in GO Train parking lots.

After reviewing security surveillance video, police were able to identify a suspect. He was arrested on Oct. 23 in the GO Train Pickering lot.

Police say the suspect, who had break-in tools hidden in a knapsack, arrived on a GO Train.

Eugene White of Oshweken, Ont., faces 12 charges, including five counts of motor vehicle theft and possession of break-and-enter instruments.
