I was thinking something like that... They must go somewhere to get that new livery, and have to get brought back. It makes sense to get hooked in with a freight.
That came from Thunder Bay brand spankin new. Oddly enough, I took that very same exact bi-level coach down to the VIA yard last night to be delivered to GO.
When Ontario Northland still ran train service from Cochrane to Toronto, you would occasionally see a GO BiLevel tacked onto the end of the train on it's way to or from the shops in North Bay. For a while they did full refurbishments there, lately they've just been doing paint for the company in Quebec that got the refurbishment contract.
This website is not only read by GO Transit passengers, but also by employees of various transit agencies across Canada and the US, members of the media and enjoys an audience from around the world. Please take that into consideration.
