Not always possible to take a bus, Anonymous. No public transit options anywhere near me at tge ungodly hour I leave the house. Fortunately, we who arrive stupidly earlier have less trouble parking. Love the 2 business day notice in this one too.
I love how no email went out about this and I can't find anything on the GO website about this. Is it the whole kiss and ride? I'm going to be 34 weeks pregnant when this happens and I get a ride home from the GO every day because I can't do the walk from the bus stop at the end of the day. Is there another solution other than going to Whitby? Is part of it going to be open? I know it's not you CJ who can really tell me these things but it would be nice to be able to find more detailed information. Thanks GO Transit!
It sounds like it will be the kiss and ride and the lot that runs north of it that will be closed and til August! But we know that infrastructure never finishes on time.
Hm. It probably can (on the 4th level) since a lot people don't park in the garage but use the overflow at Iroquois Arena. I have noticed, when driving up Henry Street, that the upper levels are fuller than they used to be.
This website is not only read by GO Transit passengers, but also by employees of various transit agencies across Canada and the US, members of the media and enjoys an audience from around the world. Please take that into consideration.

What are "lost"s? I am thinking the same person proof-read this as the 4.10 time change sign.
ReplyDeleteLet the sh*t-show begin! Cars picking up passengers will park on the road and make getting out of the lot even worse.
ReplyDeleteI made that the headline Squiggles!!!
ReplyDeleteJust take local transit to the station, folks! Its not that hard.
ReplyDeleteHee... Never even noticed that!
ReplyDeleteThe brain is too tired. I swear, it is more work to go on vacation than if you never went at all. Sigh.
More reason to park at the OC and take the bus.

ReplyDeleteThis should be fun in Whitby too, when even more commuters drive in to fill the already filled lots.
ReplyDeleteIs the parking garage in Whitby at capacity? I've been told that it can accommodate Oshawa overflow.
