subject: | Trains in (somewhat) style |
Writing to you from the Hague, Netherlands. On a commuter train to see a friend and the set up is nice. WiFi (hence the emailing)and a table... It's nice :)
I should note there was a ridiculous amount of grafitti in the areas where the seats were not (near the doors)... My train on the way home was in fabulous condition though!
ReplyDeleteDear Patrick C:
ReplyDeleteThe reason the "good citizens" of Canada and the U.S. "can't have nice things" is because here everyone has too many "freedoms" and too many "liberties" and "rights".
"Entitled" people tend to be undisciplined as they assume their "rights" to be unconditionally ordained, and, as such, do not have the concept of having to "earn them".
They "can do whatever they want, any time, and to anybody or anything they want".
That's their definition of "freedom".
