A toothbrush and some baking soda should get that out

  1. That's the "system" for you.
That's what we get for living in a prepackaged and "spoon-fed" society, no?
Consider that most of what we use and most of where we go is essentially "by default" and you realize: More often than not one "has to take whatever society, the merchants, the industries, the churches, and the charities have to offer".

  3. What do you want, low fares or clean trains? Can't have both.

  4. Low fares? Really?

I pay nearly $20 a day to get to work from Oshawa to Union where someone can ride the TTC from its furthest point west to its further point east for $3 or $3.10 / slightly less with a token. So that's about 40 kms for less than $3.25.

It took people coming from Milton over 6 hours to get to work this morning due to cancelled trains and waiting for buses. What's the fare for Milton to Union? It ain't $3.25.

    There's nothing low about GO.

  6. Reminds me: I need to email DRT and tell them to sweep the salt out of their window frames (on the inside), else it'll cause no end of rust issues...
