Not a single tweet from GO Transit regarding the 1hr delay on the Richmond Hill line this morning. #gotransit #gochro pic.twitter.com/NV58qboggW

Surely the 1hr + Richmond Hill line delay had something to do with the sudden return of winter, which GO cannot handle. @GOChronicles

* Sprinter - the weather period between Winter and Summer in Southwestern Ontario.
That is my new favourite term. Which shall be used frequently. Especially on days where I wake up with Snow. One week before May. Grrrr.
ReplyDeleteWelcome to Toronto - where you can get a sunburn and frost bite in the same week!
ReplyDeleteI think the Wynne gov't should declare snow a banned substance at this time of year.
ReplyDeleteThe libs are probably dumb enough to consider that too. Maybe pretty boy Justin can get involved. That's the sort of thing a vacuous airhead could really get into.
I saw snow this morning and didn't know what to think - or do. Shall I wear my sweater? Should I close the bedroom window now? Where did I put all my hats? Now I understand the in betweeness of our situation! For the next few weeks (not weeks surely, just days yes...?) I can just tell myself it's Sprinter and all will make sense...
ReplyDeleteSprinter.... love it. The term, not the weather conditions. Although, I didn't see any snow when I left the house this morning.
ReplyDeleteI told my son it was Sprinter this morning when he complained about the cold. "That's stupid" he said as he slammed the door (he's 17...)
